
As part of the Creation and Digital Authorship course (Audiovisual Design - BAU, University Centre of Arts and Design of Barcelona), we were tasked with selecting a simple object and exploring the numerous ways it could be represented.
The exercise was inspired by the renowned book "A Book of Matches" by Crosby/Fletcher/Forbes, which showcases 50 different takes on a single object.
The focus was not on the object itself, but rather on how to present it in order to explore its multiple possibilities. This involved experimenting with shapes, compositions, and various techniques to unveil the many facets of the object.

For my project, I chose to work with the mate, a traditional South American drink deeply rooted in cultural practices and known for its strong associations with social connection and tradition. My goal was to capture and convey what mate represents, diving into its essence and the emotions it evokes.
